WISH Trip, Day 3

Day 3, December 8th, was our first Disney day- and our only rainy day! It really only drizzled but it still was a bit of a bummer. Although a rainy day at Disney is better than a sunny day elsewhere. ;)

Before we headed off to Disney World, we had breakfast at GKTW and got to meet some Disney characters that come a couple times a week to GKTW. :)

 Annie loved the elephant talking trash can. :) If you put paper in its trunk he'll "eat" it. :)

 We got to meet Mickey in the theater. Before it opened we took some pictures. Daddy posed silly so Annie followed suit. ;)

  

 Annie was very excited to see the Chipmunks in the theater! :)

MICKEY TIME!

 Upon Arrival at GKTW, the kiddos are gifted a Mickey. A volunteer mentioned that many kids have Mickey sign his foot. YES PLEASE! So we brought Mickey along. :)

 Mary Poppins was outside and we were so excited to meet her! Mary Poppins is one of Annie's newest favorite movies. :)

Even on a rainy day- a beautiful sight! :)

Magic Kingdom!

Before our trip, I researched what our Genie pass would do for us. Officially it only gets you into the fass pass line (sometimes the front) for rides, but many were saying that it would get us to the front for characters as well. At GKTW orientation, we were told that it would not work for characters. Well, when we arrived, the CMs for Snow White saw us and grabbed us to go to the front of the line. That is how it was for every character! For characters like Anna and Elsa that have fast pass lines, you will be put in the fast pass line, (only have to wait like 10 minutes max), and for the characters without a fast pass line, you get to go straight to the front. :) Your Genie pass is GOLD. :)

When you meet Tinker Bell, you go to Pixie Hollow and you are shrunk to fairy size. :)

 Next we got to meet the Talking Mickey! 

 She always waves at the characters when she sees them- she just can't wait to meet them!

 Elsas are usually calm and quite, (at least when compared to the Annas), but this Elsa talked and talked and talked. She was wonderful! :)

Remember how I said this Elsa was very talkative? Well, this Anna was quiter/calmer than Annas usually are. I've just seen better Annas (she wasn't bad, I've just seen better). No offense to this lovely lady, but step up your Anna game. ;)

 Since this was Annie's WISH trip, we had the characters all sign the letters in WISH. I'll do a separate post about them and the other souvenir traditions I do when we go to Disney later. :)

 I think this Cinderella might be "friends" with Aurora as well. ;) She was admiring our shirts and I mentioned they were tea cups for the Tea Cups ride. She responded with "cups, cups, cups, cups, cups, cups, cups," like Fauna in Sleeping Beauty. :) Side note: whenever I mention the word cup, (or think it in my head while cooking or whatever), I also will say, or at least think, "cups, cups, cups, cups, cups, cups, cups." :)

 Tarzan was a little offended that he had to sign the H in WISH- being the last letter and all. Oops, sorry! :)

 and yes, if you are wondering, I was horribly embarrassed around a nearly naked man! lol He was wearing hose type material on his arms and legs, but he was still pretty much naked! lol Awk-ward. ;)

I almost forgot this detail! We rode the ferry to the parking lot from MK. We were the last to board the ferry and it was about to leave, (thankfully they waited for us). :) As we were walking on the gangway, Annie started waving to the ferry. I pointed to the captain and she started waving to him. He started waving back and got on the loud speaker and said, "Hi Princess! Welcome aboard Princess!" Daddy and I were beaming. :)

We headed back to GKTW for their weekly Halloween party. :)  Notice this was Annie's third costume of the day. :)

They also had an animal encounter that night at GKTW. :)

 Before heading home we stopped to get some ice cream at the ice cream parlor. :)

Once we were almost home (this is all on the GKTW grounds), we passed the putt putt course and decided to catch a quick game, Annie's first. :)

Notice Annie's terror? Once you got the ball in the hole these dinos made noise and shot out water or mist, (I think mist, but I can't really remember). It was dark and all of a sudden the dinos made noise- can you blame her? ;) 

This was the final hole and once you got it in, the T Rex popped up and roared. Thankfully his roar wasn't too scary. ;)
