Disney August 2016 Day 7

This day was the reason we came to Disney in August! It was my 30th birthday and Annie's 5th adoptionversary! To celebrate, we decided to do the 4 parks in 1 day challenge. :)

Park One: Animal Kingdom

We got the day started early with breakfast at Tusker House

Annie: do you know what we are celebrating today? My mommy's birthday and my 5th adoptionversary!" Mickey: What?! *draws big heart with hands*

After all of the characters came by, it was time for a dance party!

First Goofy came by and danced with Annie:

First park, done!

On the way out I spotted D'vine! We saw her last year too, (2 out of our 4 times in the AK).  So glad we've seen her, but both years Annie has given a less than stellar smile with her! hmmm

Park #2- Hollywood Studios!

In the other posts, y'all saw how the Storm Troopers showered her with love. Well, they pulled out all the stops today! They spotted little Han Solo, and motioned for her to follow!

These pics have gotten out of order- we met Chewie first. You see, with doing 4 parks in 1 day, I had us on a strict schedule. We had planned to only meet Chewie dressed as Han (BFFs), and we would meet Kylo if we had time.  While waiting in line, our CM (C) friend from 2 days earlier spotted us and pulled us out of line! She brought us to the front to meet Chewie! Then she brought us to the front to meet Kylo! Well, then he was being quiet, so she brought us back in once he was feeling talkative again! She and another CM stayed with us at this time and the magic didn't end there!

Remember I said that I was on a strict schedule? Well I threw caution to the wind and just enjoyed all the magic those CMs were making for Annie!  So remember a few days prior to this when Annie got shafted a little during the March of the First Order? Well our CM friends more than made up for it this day!

They had her wait here for priority viewing and something special to come:

Our CM (C) friend said the Disney Junior characters wanted her to have this book, but were sad they missed her the other day! It is a Doc McStuffins book signed by the Disney Jr characters, Mickey, Minne, and Pluto, Olaf , and Joy and Sadness, Pooh, Chip n Dale and Rafiki!

The CM on the left helped us with leading the March, but I want to brag on the CM on the right. He (J) was with us with our other favorite CM (C) from the pics above. He sent Annie a Cinderella doll and a crown hairpiece to our hotel that evening! How cool is that?! We already loved him, but this act made us love him even more! We hope to get to see CM C and J on our next trip and trips to come! We love all things Disney and the characters are like royalty to us- but CMs like C and J are just as special to us. They are a big part of what makes Disney, Disney.

When we landed at Epcot, we ran into Mary Poppins! She took Annie's hand and asked her to walk with her! *squee!*

She walked to her photospot and invited us to get in line to meet her (if we didn't she understood). I hope she knows that we had already met her twice that trip, and that we were on a tight schedule. We love Mary Poppins and would never just outright skip her! This walk was very special!

Meeting Belle in her blue dress was obviously the priority of this park. She is not easy to meet- everyone wants to meet her so her line is always long and regularly gets closed down because it is so long. Knowing this, we decided to be first in line and wait an hour to meet her. 

In the hour of waiting, rain started moving in. Belle won't meet outside if there is rain. Prior to getting in line, we had checked her inside photospot, but were insured she'd meet outside. The closer the rain got, the more nervous I got. We needed to meet her in the dress, had invested an hour of our day- what if she doesn't come? Or worse, what if she moved inside and there is a line already that we are now not in? Paul talked me down and convinced me to wait it out.

Sweet CM (J) wrote us a few fast passes while we were waiting for our second Kylo meet that day. So, we got to ride the new Frozen ride for the second time this trip. :) We love it!

Park 4- Magic Kingdom

Walking into the park, we passed this CM who had been in line with us at Talking Mickey earlier that week. She said watching Annie meet him made her day! We chatter with her for awhile, and then she brought Annie this frozen lemonade. :) I'm telling y'all- the CMs are the best! Just as much of Disney magic as the characters, rides, etc.

I had to snap this pic! I had bought the Gaston shirt for my hubs because he is a fan. I had planned for him to wear it this day becuase of Annie being Belle. When we got to MK and he realized he would be wearing it at BOG for dinner, he had to get a new shirt. Yep, he just bought that shirt as not to offend the Beast. Disney has given me a whole new love for my husband. Not even kidding!

Leaving here we passed in front of the castle and I got stung by a bee for the first time. We were right by first aid, but my hubs was able to remove the entire stinger. I ended up having a moderate reaction, I had a 10in long by 3 in wide red, itchy welt on my arm (hives included at times) which lasted 9 days.

Now we were able to relax and slowly enjoy the rest of our evening.

The CM that helped us to the ride had been our CM a few times (we rode Mine Train 8 times this trip). We told her this was (obviously) Annie's favorite ride. When the ride was over she asked if we would like to ride it again! Um, yes please! (So I am looking over these pics and we rode it 3 times that day. I had a FP from J. Then we got a return time (DAS), returned after Small World, and then we were allowed to ride it again (a second, consecutive, time). So when we were in the front car it was the FP, when we are in the back it was after a return time and then when the CM let us ride again).

We rode the Pooh ride for the first time. On the ride, they have a wheelchair car! This only allows for one additional rider with the wheelchair rider. So, they let us ride twice and switch so we could each ride with Annie. :)

Time for another Enchanted Story time with Belle!

They always choose dads from the audience to be the armor in the show. This was Paul's second time. He was so excited! :) Like I said, Disney has given me a whole new love for him!

Annie was thrilled to be the Beast again! She loves to roar!

After dinner, we planned on leaving, but we got caught by the fireworks. (the castle pics in the background switch between Cinderella's and Beast's castles). Definitely not complaining:
